The ADA Solar (Solar I) was a hanging metal halide lamp (metal halid) lighting fixture for nature aquariums, formerly manufactured and sold by Aqua Design Amano (ADA). Although it is now discontinued, it remains highly popular among aquarists as a masterpiece capable of producing a unique light quality and surface ripple effect that LED lighting cannot replicate.
